I found from 248am blog that Hermès will be opening up their first store in Kuwait this September and the store is going to be huge and will be located at the Al Hamra Tower.

For Those Who LOVE Shoes (Spring/Summer 2011 Shoes Trends)

The Spring/Summer seasons of 2011 shoes trends are interesting.  The variety and the mixture of shoe trends aren’t large but each style deserves our particular attention.

Discover some of the most important shoe trends of this season in the following:

Pumps and Stilettos: Despite how hurtful stilettos and pumps are it’s always worth to sacrifice for beauty and elegance. High-heeled shoes come in a great variety of colors, from crazy tones to reserved and even dull tones.

Flats: Flats are basically focused on the comfort. However, Spring/Summer 2011 designer collections flats have become more glamorous and attractive. The styles of flats in Spring/Summer 2011 are very diverse: ballerina flats, oxford flats, sneaker sandals, Jesus sandals, etc.

Printed shoes: The trendiest shoe prints for Spring/ Summer 2011 fashion season are the floral, geometric patterns and animal designs. Prints make shoes look cheerful and happier.

Gladiator and strappy sandals: Gladiators continue to be a very trendy shoe design. They come in high heel, wedge and flat versions.

Clog-inspired shoes: Clunky wooden shoes they are still trendy now but with a modernized look and more luxurious in design.

Platform wedges: In Spring/ Summer 2011 fashion season Wedges are hotter than ever because it’s been added with platform which look even more stylish. There are wedges which are for everyday wear, espadrille styles, and very beautiful designs you would want to wear to big life events.

Flatform Heels. This is a new term and it refers to flats that are elevated on a high platform heel Flatforms do not look very elegant or sophisticated but they do provide great comfort to wearer.

Kitten heels Kitten heels are making a somewhat sizzling return, spurred on by the trend of '50s and '60s dressing. More comfortable less appealing, kitten heels can work particularly well when dainty, pointed, and either retro-inspired or minimalist.

I hope you enjoyed my report ;)
